Snickerdoodle is a super sweet dog with an affectionate nature and a passion for cuddling. He's a social pup who enjoys playing with other dogs, especially those who can match his energy level. He loves chewing on his wishbone dog chew, which helps keep him occupied. While Snickerdoodle is mostly housebroken, he might have an occasional accident. He's a smart boy who knows the commands "sit," "shake," and "down." He feels at ease in his crate but can be a bit skittish around loud noises. Despite his nervousness, Snickerdoodle has never been aggressive. He's good with children, though he might get a bit mouthy with younger kids due to his playful, puppy-like behavior. Generally, he's fine with other dogs. Snickerdoodle has been rehomed several times after just a few months. This makes his gentle and loving demeanor even more impressive. He deserves a stable, loving forever home where he can get the care and attention he needs. If you're seeking a devoted companion with a lot of love to give, Snickerdoodle is the perfect choice.
All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption.
An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.
Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.
Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown.
