My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The perfect nose!

Some people wear their heart on their sleeve. Cupid goes one better. He wears his heart on his nose! Kiss marks the spot!

This adorable little scamp is about 8 months old, a teenager with a lot of energy and readiness to play at the drop of a hat. He was trapped as a kitten from a long-time cat dumping ground in the valley. He was born there among the weeds and trash and he didn't have any exposure to people as a kitten. So now he gets so excited playing that he can go a little over the top with his antics and he can accidentally scratch or playbite. So he's not a good fit for little kids. But for adults, especially a family that has another cat that needs a friend and playmate, adopting Cupid would be hitting the kitty jackpot.

He's shy of strangers but he loves to be pet by his trusted people. If you want a cat that will become the greeter for all people coming into the house, he would not be a good choice. But for those who want a cat that will be devoted to them and their fun cat and even okay with the respectful dog in the house, bingo!

Cupid is in Anchorage, bouncing around the house rounding up playmates and looking for trouble, entertaining the kids and generally being a normal feline teenager. If you are interested in finding out more, please give us a call 907 980-8898

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
