Hello, my Name is Percy, it's short for Perseverance. I am a 7 year old Chihuahua, I am spayed and current on all shots. Sadly I tested positive for heartworms, so I was started on treatment. Treatment almost killed me so I am taking a safer route.

I am in rescue because I was found by a sweet woman who was house sitting. She said I was quite the survivalist. Nobody had ever seen me before. I was gathering everything I needed out of someone's garage and taking it back to a flat bed trailer that I claimed, I even had some yummy cat food

I have NEVER known humans to be nice and gentle so when the man came to trap me I was soooo scared. The man turned out to be safe he even brought me to rescue. I have been here a long time being worked with. everyone has shown me that humans are good and loving. I will need a patient and understanding adopter who will allow me some time to adjust.

Once I trust you I am the sweetest silliest girl. I am a goofball who enjoys company and soft beds.

We are a kitten rescue that takes in kittens that are found, dumped at a shelter, or are born from a house cat. We get them healthy, vetted, and try to adopt them out to their furrever homes. We also do a little bit of TNR.
