My name is Coral (but I'm a boy)!

We found Coral one rainy evening when we had to park farther away from our home than usual. We're no stranger to community cats in South Philly, but Coral made it pretty clear that he would like to be let in please. Coral, who is a boy but was named by our 3-year old, made himself quite at home and we would love to keep him around, but we already have five cats who would revolt if we brought in another.

Coral is a sweet little soul who appreciates a cozy corner and a hunk of your sandwich. Coral does not meow-- instead he croaks like a frog with a sore throat when he would like some pets, which he tends to do upon the opening of a bathroom door or (for whatever reason) when you’re putting laundry in the washer. He will join you in a game of catnip toy on a long string and will sit on your feet while you work from home. He’s also very patient with young children and will hang around while being brought piles of pretend food (even when it's put on his head like a little hat).
