Apollo is a Blue Heeler with a lust for life!
He enjoys nothing more than playing fetch with his ball,
Tug of War with his Rope,
Or receiving scritches along his back.
The Humane Society found him as a stray 7 years ago,
And we adopted him after 3 days of being in the shelter.
He has anxiety when meeting new people or pets (or hearing knocking!),
But with a treat and 5 minutes, he'll be begging you to throw his toy as his new best friend.
He generally tolerates other pets, but resource-guards his food and toys.
He has leash/fench-aggression when he's on a leash and sees another dog,
But once the other dog is on the same side of the fence as him, he no longer has problems with them.
We've recently moved to a smaller house, and no longer have a yard for him to play in,
Which has caused him to be more aggressive towards our cats.
We're hoping to find someone with a big yard, or with a lot of kids that are able to pay attention to him and give him the play time he deserves.
