My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fancy is affectionate, but timid & a little spicy. She is a gorgeous cat who enjoys being pet & sometimes held. She can be very vocal & likes to greet people! She's been friendly with some cats & not so much with others.

I started feeding Fancy last winter. In June I brought her to a friend's after she had kittens. They were all trapped & kenneled to be spayed & vaccinated. She's now kenneled at a mechanic's shop, which is temporary until we find her the right home! I've been feeding, taming & finding homes for my neighborhood strays for about a year now. So far so good.

Fancy would do best in a quiet home situation. She tends to hide from noises & strangers. She'd enjoy being outdoors also - she was a great tree climber when she first came to me while I fed other strays. But should be in for a good while to be sure she's acclimated to her new family.

Fancy will make a patient cat-lover an excellent pet & companion. She takes time to warm up to strangers, but enjoys human affection & attention. She is friendly with some cats & not so much with others.

The foster home will contact you directly to see if there is a match between you and the cat and arrange for you to meet. Only applications from the San Francisco Bay Area can be considered.

Our recommendation is that the foster home charge an adoption fee and execute an adoption contract.
