My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is the house greeter and the social butterfly in all situations. She loves any and all adult visitors. We adopted Pepper in May-2014 when she was about a year old and have had her for 10 delightful years. We've always had other cats with Pepper but she has never seemed to get along with the other 11 year old and the two kittens we adopted in 2024. She is good at simply avoiding the other cats however and its so clear she loves her humans.

Unfortunately we need to rehome Pepper because she doesn't seem to love having children around and we have another one on the way. Pepper seems ok with our one 18-month old son but seems to get stressed when we have other young humans (ages >5) visit. It's a tough situation to control because she craves the attention of all visitors but is stressed out by young children and so scratches out occasionally if the young children don't leave her alone. It seems a very manageable situation by not having small children.

We hope you consider her!
