Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LOCATED IN CAMBRIDGE, ON at PetSmart Cambridge
DOB: 2 Sept 2023
Microchipped

Hello there, I'm Lilith. You might find me a bit shy at first, but that's just because I'm still getting to know you. Once I'm comfortable in a new space, you'll see that I'm curious, always eager to explore new corners and crannies. With a little patience while I get to know you, you'll see I'm gentle and playful too. I'm independent, but I do love a good cuddle and being a fun kitten! My favourite game? Chasing the red dot from my laser pointer! It's so intriguing, I could play for hours. But don't worry, I won't keep you up all night. I know when it's time to curl up and rest. Why should you adopt me? Because I promise to bring joy, laughter, and lots of purrs into your life. And because it will be such a wonderful feeling for both of us when I blossom and leave my worries behind. I am ready to share my love and curiosity with a forever family. Could that be you?

A NOTE FROM HER FOSTER:
Lilith has been through a lot for such a young cat. She was scared and defensive when she arrived a few weeks ago. Lilith then lived in a foster home with a loving human. By reading her body language, talking kindly to her, and patiently going one step at a time with touch, her foster found that Lilith likes to be held - she would lean in and make biscuits. Though Lilith started out hiding and some defensive hissing (to say close enough), she was always curious and watchful, and she just needed time.

Before coming to the store adoption centre, she was letting her carefree side show a little more by playing with a laser pointer and exploring the home more. Lilith has also started shown to show an interest in the presence of laid-back cats: she watches as they play near her and approaches a little to see them. She benefits from seeing another cat enjoying a home and the affection of a family. ... Lilith needs an adopter who will understand this; respect her body language, let her pace herself, and offer her a safe space to go to as she continues to bloom. She may be independent but she also wants to share time with her family being a happy, affectionate young girl.
