My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scout is a 3yo pure bred Lab Retriever. She is our 2nd black lab. We adopted her as a baby from my brother's best friend who breeds labs in North Dakota. She is a serious cuddler--including with our 11yo and 7yo. She goes to work 3 days with my husband and the employees love her there. And she goes to dog daycare 2 days a week. She has had a trainer since she was a puppy and she'll go to "place" on demand (most of the time). Our main problem is that she is not good around other children. She will charge my children's friends. She has not bit them (yet) but we keep her in a crate when they are around. Unfortunately we live in a neighborhood where children are always coming over and knocking at the door and coming inside. In addition, Scout is terroritorial of our property so she will charge the electric fence and scare people who walk by. Our neighborhood is very busy with walkers. It breaks our heart to think about losing Scout.
