Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB 7/1/22
Meet Salem! She was in sad shape when she came into the rescue, very pregnant despite being so skinny that you could feel her bones. Salem had seven beautiful but premature kittens only a few days after being in the rescue. Salem was not doing well, and after several trips to the vet, we were told she needed a critical surgery. Her surgery was successful and she was still able to care for her kittens. Such a good mama! We did help her out with bottle feeding her kittens as she just didn’t have enough milk.
Now that her kittens are eating on their own and Salem is all healed up from her previous surgery and from getting spayed, this sweet mama is ready for adoption.
Salem is a very calm and sweet young cat, with a quiet purr. She likes taking naps or just hanging out with you and relaxing. When you get the laser out, she loves to chase it. She would be perfect for someone that works from home and wants some company, as she is so calm.
$100 adoption fee per adult cat.
Hardest part of rescue is:
- Not being able to save every cat.
- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.
Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat
or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes.
The $100 adoption fee per cat ensures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
