My name is Casper!

Casper is a rare non-Siamese all white short haired male cat. Being ~6 years old, he's a distinguished middle-age gentleman of refined tastes & lower activity level. If he was a person, he would be of British nobility! While he has been in households with both cats/kittens & dogs, he is selective about his companions now.

Therefore- none of those crazy kittens, young whippersnapper cats, or yappy, jumpy & high energy dogs will do. He seeks similar age & demeanor compatriots who are seen & interacted with as he so pleases. Casper needs a calmer environment where he can acclimate at his own pace. Older children are OK.

Should you request Casper's presence, you will find him a most engaging companion. He enjoys one-on-one conversations, head scratches, & sitting in plant pots. He likes watching you do laundry, cleaning, & cooking. He is known to bat the water coming from the faucet or washing machine. A little nibble of soft cat food or cat treats ensures his constant devotion. His favorite spots are a sunny window sil ledge, balcony, or open air atrium.

While Casper is not a lap cat, he is also not aloof. He wants a human to love & be loved back. He takes a little longer to settle in to a household than younger kitties, but his loyalty & attention is worth waiting for.
