Meet Bahkti!
This young, super chill, male, Great Pyrenees mix is approximately 60 lbs and a year old. He showed up at a residence and wouldn’t leave. He was posted for weeks and an owner was searched for, with no luck. The residents were able to keep him until a foster was found. Bahkti is a sweet dog who loves to be outside and will be devoted to his new owner, which is how he earned his name. Bahkti- meaning 'devoted to'. He walks well on a leash, is good in the car and has good dog manners. He is a quick learner which neans he can sit, lay and knows, leave it. He likes other dogs and would do best having another canine friend, but not necessary if he gets the attention he needs from his human family. He has also done well with cats and chickens. He does not bark very often like most Great Pyrs but will if he feels something is wrong. Bahkti loves belly rubs and playing with his toys. He is crate trained and has not had any accidents indoors. In typical Great Pyr fashion he does need a fenced in yard that he can not dig out of if he is the only animal and left alone. Please share this handsome fella, let’s find the perfect home for Bahkti! He is fully vetted, neutered and just waiting for his forever! If you are interested in knowing more please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com
PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region. Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.
