My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Flounder, an adult dog with a heart of gold. He's a sweet and gentle soul, with a brave spirit that shines through his initial shyness. Flounder can be a bit fearful in new places, and nervous when first meeting new people, but give him a little time and patience, and he'll warm up to you like a sunbeam on a chilly day. His bravery is a testament to his resilient spirit. He may need a little extra time to trust, but once he does, his loyalty is unwavering. Flounder is looking for a home where he can feel safe and loved. He deserves a second chance at happiness. Could you be the one to give it to him?

An ideal home:
Slow introductions to new people and situations
Positive reinforcement with lots of yummy treats
Recommend mature children ages 10 and up meet prior to adoption
May benefit from a socially compatible canine companion in the home
