My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the Mythical litter: Apollo, Athena, Phoenix, Tengu, Griffon, and Sphynx. These sweet babies were sadly orphaned at 11 days old when their mom was hit by a car and killed. PRL rescued them and now that they are old enough, they are in New England to find their furever homes!

Phoenix is an 8 week old male Aussie mix, currently weighing about 6 lbs. He is expected to grow to a medium sized dog. He is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. He is crate trained, not yet housebroken.

He's a very happy puppy and the calmest of all his siblings. He gets along great with his two foster cat siblings. He's happy to prance around with his ball or be playful with his siblings. Comes over with his puppy dog, eyes and stares at you until you cuddle him."

1.
Submit Application

Apply for the dog you are interested in. Or fill out a general application describing what you are looking for in a dog

2.
Home Check

After processing you application, you will be contacted to schedule a virtual home visit.

3.
Approve Application

After your application is processed and your home visit is done, we will let you know if you are approved to adopt!

4.
Meet the Pet

Once you are approved a meeting will be set up for you to meet with the dog you are interested in.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

The last step is finalizing the adoption! Sign their contract, pay the adoption fee, and take your furry friend home!

We match our dogs to the best applicant for each dog! We process applications, preform a home visit, either in person or a video call. We have a discussion with you about what you're looking for in a dog, and we work with our applicants to find the dog that will best fit their home and lifestyle. We want to ensure both our rescue dogs, and adopters are set up for success and are happy!

Paws Rescue League Inc. Rescues the dogs that need saving. We believe ALL dogs deserve love, happiness, and a family. We don't just take in the puppies, or the young fully vetted dogs who are quick to adopt. We take dogs of all ages, all sizes, all breeds and we do our best to find the best family that matches their needs. We work with our adopters to make sure they are supported, and the process is as stress free as possible. We are a 501(c)(3) non profit rescue, that is run by volunteers.
