My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I got Boss from a friend who needed to rehome him. I learned quickly that he had a very traumatic life up until me. He experienced abuse and neglect. The prior owner said that his shots were up to date, but they have not given me paperwork to show that. Boss is about 9-10 years old.

He’s afraid of water, but I have been able to bathe him. For two weeks I hand fed him to get him comfortable. He has a very nervous/anxious tummy. He is afraid of other dogs, so he runs away from them. He’s not aggressive and will vomit when he meets a new dog. We have another dog and Boss gets along with him.

He doesn’t know how to play very well. He HATES his feet being touched.

He is a sweet dog and definitely barks at EVERYTHING he hears outside.

I am hoping that his new fur-parent will have the patience to spend the time with him that he deserves. Unfortunately, I do not.
