What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Ember was a neighborhood stray before his current owner took him in around October 2022. He was very grateful as it was just starting to get pretty cold outside! He gets along great with one other cat in the household, but not the other, so Ember is looking for another home that will be a better fit. He’s a very lovable, friendly, and playful little guy who still has lots of life to live at 8-10 years of age. He loves to be outside as well, so adopters experienced with indoor/outdoor cats are preferred.
NOTE: Ember has also had some behavioral issues, mainly inappropriate urinating, that his owner has tried to mitigate several times. It is likely due to stress from another cat and not being able to be outside, but potential adopters must be willing to properly vet and treat any underlying issues as his current owner can no longer afford the vet visits required.
