My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tyson was born April 30, 2013 and weighs about 80 pounds. Tyson and his brother Rocky are with us because his humans moved to a condo in Florida that does not allow breeds like GSD or Rotties. Tyson is your typical GSD and bonds intensely with his humans and would like for his new humans to be around more often than not. When Tyson was dropped off we were greeted with big tail wags and kisses. He needed vaccines and a bath upon arrival and he was wonderful with us for both. Tyson has been great with the other dogs here and travels well in the car. As I type this Tyson is celebrating his 11th birthday he is still able to jump in bed and in and out of cars however as with many large breed dogs he will likely need a vet-prescribed pain reliever for arthritis like Rimadyl sooner rather than later. We will be looking for a home with large breed experience to ensure Tyson's golden years will be filled with love and comfort. This sweet boy's heart has been shattered and he needs someone to come along and put the pieces back together for him. Is that someone you?
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $300.00

Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.

Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.

Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
