My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact melissa (melissa@pawsandprayers.org) for more information about this pet.

Tina spent 6 years of her life in a puppy mill and is learning what it is like to live in a house full of love and comfort. Due to her background, she is still very fearful and will require an understanding family willing to be patient with her while she continues to learn to trust. Underneath her fear, she is smart and extremely sweet. Although scared she still prefers to follow her person around the house, snuggle up on the couch, and sleep up against you in bed at night. She spooks easily and will run when scared so she requires someone with a fenced-in yard. She is much more confident with other dogs around so a household with at least one other dog, preferably her size is a must.

Tina gets adorable zoomies when around other dogs in a fenced-in yard where she can run! She is ok with cats and doesn't pay much attention to them. Tina has been exposed to toddlers, and has shown no aggression but would be best in a home with only adults or older children because she prefers a quieter household. She is starting to understand the concept of housebreaking but will still need someone to continue showing her the ropes as she still has accidents.

Her adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, and spay. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an adoption application today at our website  www.pawsandprayers.org. Tina's adoption fee is $300.

More about this rescue

Our primary mission is to rescue, care for, and find loving homes for homeless cats and dogs. Our secondary goal is to make sure all of these animals are spayed or neutered. It is a big task, but we are ready! Paws and Prayers is based in the Northeast Ohio region. We operate as a non-profit, incorporated organization that functions solely on the efforts of foster homes and adoption volunteers.
