What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
A little less than 2 years ago, sweet Opal was found living under a deck. We fed & looked after her for a month or so while she continued to live outside. Eventually, it started to get hot outside & I became more worried about her living situation, so I decided to take her home with me. As much as I love & adore Opal, I'm unable to care for her anymore for two reasons: 1) She & my other cat do NOT get along. Zeppelin is my older/cranky male cat. He likes to bully sweet Opal, & the fighting has become increasingly worse. Despite him being the aggressor in this situation, I've had him for 10 years, so rehoming him isn't a viable option. But, Opal deserves to live in a safe, stress free home! 2) Times are tough, financially speaking. For this reason, Opal is over 6 months behind on her vaccinations. She deserves better healthcare than I can presently give her. Opal (3 yo) truly is the most cuddly cat I've ever had. She LOVES people! She seems to be okay/indifferent with dogs.
