Meet Barry, the ultimate lover boy and Olympic-level cuddler. This charming Tabby is a laid-back and chill guy who adores nothing more than snuggling up for pets and cuddles, or relaxing on the couch. His affectionate nature knows no bounds, and he'll melt your heart with his gentle purrs and soulful eyes. Barry has recently had a partial dental extraction that has improved his quality of life, he's now thriving and ready to find his forever home. Despite his recent challenges, Barry remains a resilient and sweet-natured cat. Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped. Vector tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (“FIV”) which causes a weakening of a cat’s immune system. Cats with FIV can live a healthy normal life, both in quality and longevity. Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
