My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A volunteer writes:
Krobus gets the gold medal for the biggest fluffiest cheeks! What a gorgeous young man he is and who was so shy when he came to the care center with his fifteen housemates. Krobus is all ebony(I checked him all over for a speck of white and nada)and endowed with lovely green eyes that are not bashful anymore. He is housed with one of his friends and often tries to steal the show for him...Krobus, I already did your photo shoot, please, make room for your brother Steve! Krobus is curious, gentle in his manners, not used(yet) to play with toys but greedy for company and petting without being overwhelming. He will make a wonderful companion  to the adopter or family looking for a friendly and loving companion, well behaved and likely to mingle happily with another kitty. Come and meet handsome Krobus at the Manhattan Care Center.

Krobus tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that he go to a home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.
