Over a year ago, my husband rescued this dog from a home that had abandoned Daisy while tied to a tree with no food / water. He took Daisy in and provided her with food, water, and shelter; with the intention of finding her a home as we already had another pitbull.
While taking her to the vet we learned that she was unable to be adopted as she had heart worms. Thus, over the next 6+ months we fostered her in our home with our pitbull, two cats, and our two young daughters so she could complete her heart work treatment; as of Feb she is clear.
During this time we fell in love with Daisy, but quickly learned that Daisy does not get along with our other pitbull, thus we had to keep the two dogs separated at all times.
Since she is clear of heart worms, we are looking for a family that would love to adopt Daisy.
Daisy is a gentle soul, loves snuggles, bacon, and a good bell rub.
