My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marzipan and Macaroon are two super soft and furry litter-mates who can't wait to snuggle up with you! These two were once roaming a backyard after being born to a feral mom but right before the scary New Year's fireworks they've been enjoying all the comforts of indoor life. Any soft bed or blanket instantly brings out their affectionate purrs and they take turns enthusiastically nuzzling their soft noses and faces into loving human hands for an abundance of cuddles. M and M love to chase little catnip toys around and bat them along slick floors as their instincts invigorate their natural hunter / play time. When they aren't found in cuddle or play mode, they are burrowing under blankets for some dreamy naps. Look up the term "bonded siblings" in the dictionary, and it should have a photo of these two together because they fully lean on one another for every emotion and comfort. And they'll love to include their forever-humans in that once they've placed their trust in you. New things and places take a little time for Marzipan and Macaroon to adjust, to so their new forever home with you will require a little patience compassion and understanding, but once the know they're in a happy and safe place, these sweet treats will melt your heart just like their namesakes will do to your taste-buds. An ideal home for "M and M" will prioritize calm and dependable vibes, and since these two kittens are still learning to love their humans, it'd be preferred that there are no human babies or toddlers at the moment. A lifetime of purrs and affection awaits with this brother and sister snuggle duo!

This animal is bonded to Macaroon (KRLA-A-6450) and should remain together with that animal.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
