Meet Bonnie and Simba. These guys (and their sister) were rescued from a bad situation on the streets but have not let that cast a shadow over their wonderful personalities. Simba is your typical energetic little kitten and quite the character. He loves to play and explore but also enjoys snuggling with you. He's a sweetheart. Bonnie is a little more reserved initially but the most affectionate petite little girl once she warms up to you. She has the saddest, most beautiful eyes and face. We adopted out their sister who was the more confident and alpha in the group but would like to adopt these two lovely kitties together. They are amazing, grateful, low maintenance kitties. They are good with other cats, (dogs with the right introduction) and children.

We ONLY adopt animals to homes in the greater Los Angeles area.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
