Meet Dot, a sweet and affectionate adult cat with a charming personality all her own. Dot was named after the cute dots that adorn her white coat. This friendly girl knows her name and will even meow back when you call her, adding to her unique charm. Although Dot can be nervous at first, she quickly warms up and shows her true colors as a devoted companion. She enjoys being petted and will melt in your arms, displaying her affectionate side once she feels comfortable.

Dot would do well with another cat and will flourish in a quiet home with someone who can appreciate her loving nature. Dot is on the cusp of kidney disease and will need an experienced owner who can provide the care she'll need to keep her happy and thriving for the years to come. Dot came to Kitten Rescue with a sibling, who has since been adopted, leaving sweet Dot behind. We think it's time for this adorable girl to get her happy ending too.

We ONLY adopt animals to homes in the greater Los Angeles area.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
