My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Milo the enigmatic black panther of the domestic feline world. With a sleek short coat and a large frame that demands attention this young man comes with a history. He's been let down by people in the past but he is more than ready to find love again. In return he promises to never let you get bored and you can be sure you'll always know where to find him: right next to you meowing in your ear. Despite his past experiences Milo is a Velcro cat who craves companionship and enjoys being vocal about his needs and desires. He will flourish in a home with experienced owners who understand his unique needs and can provide the right environment for him to thrive. He's an active and curious feline who needs plenty of space activities and someone who actively engages in playtime to keep him entertained and mentally stimulated. Milo's journey has shaped him into a special cat who deserves the right people to give him the love attention and care he needs.

His preference for being the only cat and his need for a calm home without young children underscores the importance of finding an appropriate match for him. Classical music helps soothe his nerves and he would benefit greatly from having lots of wall shelves trees or even a cat wheel to satisfy his active nature. If you're an experienced cat owner seeking a devoted companion and are ready to provide Milo with the right environment and plenty of interactive playtime then Milo is waiting for you to be his hero and give him the forever home he deserves.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
