My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crux is an exceptionally dashing black and white male kitten adorned with tuxedo markings that perfectly complement his charming personality. This little fellow is not just another pretty face; he's brimming with character and charisma.

Crux's social nature shines through as he eagerly shadows a rather indifferent Chihuahua, demonstrating his unwavering determination to win her over as a new friend. His persistence and friendly demeanor make him an ideal companion for both humans and other pets.

This clever kitty is not one to be outwitted easily. Crux takes great delight in the world of toys, showcasing his agile and inventive playfulness. You'll often find him pouncing and batting at his playthings with unmatched enthusiasm, ready to brighten your day with his antics.

Crux has a unique way of communicating his desires. When he's ready for mealtime or seeking some playtime fun, he'll gently nudge you with endearing head bumps. It's his way of saying, "Let's have some quality time together!

With his striking appearance and friendly disposition, and a heart on his nose, he's a lively and affectionate companion who's always up for a good time.

Crux is bonded to his sister Lynx (KRLA-A-4615). They must be adopted together.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
