Hey, you! Yes, you looking for a loyal friend. I'm Heuk-dang, a 6-year-old dachshund/Corgi mix with a sleek black coat. I weigh a perfect 10 kg – just enough for a good cuddle but still fit for all our adventures together.

My journey began when I was rescued from a shelter, just moments before it was too late. Now I'm ready to find a forever home where I can share all the love I've got stored up.

I'm a bit on the shy side, but don't let that fool you. Offer me a snack, and I'll be your buddy in no time, showing you my belly for some rubs. I'm not much for the rough-and-tumble play with other dogs; I prefer the company of my human pals. Cats? They're cool, but I'm more about the people in my life.

Most of our dogs are currently in Korea. After we give approvals, we arrange the flight schedule for rescued dogs. Some of our rescued dogs are being fostered in GTA. Please check their locations on profiles.

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
