Hello NorthEasterners, I’m Lady, a very lovely, short, and squatty, built like a tank, female Bull Terrier mix, wearing a pretty brindle coat. I’m about 3 years old, I weigh 36 lbs and I was found in San Antonio Texas, tied to a pole near the Humane Society. I guess that was better and safer than just pushing me out of a car, but I was mighty happy and wagging hard when a nice lady approached and untied me. She opened the door to her truck and I jumped right in, and now she is my foster mom!
Since then I’ve been having fun, other than my trip to the vet to get spayed, but not even that put a damper on my spirit. I’m just a happy girl. Happy and grateful. Friendly and sweet. I’m also a good girl and it shows. I get along great with everyone, grown-ups, kids, strangers, other dogs, and even a kitty cat. I love playtime, running around the yard, and playing chase with my doggy friends or playing with squeaky toys. Those are my favorites and I can easily entertain myself by tossing them in the air. I rarely bark except to alert you to something important. I don't chew your belongings, dig in the yard, or try to jump fences, I’m too low to the ground anyway, LOL. I only go potty outdoors and I know how to use a doggy door, and I know how to walk very nicely on a leash. I’m sweet, I love everyone, and I am dreaming of being someone's forever dog. I totally deserve it and I’m adorable! I am ready to get the heck out of Texas and move somewhere in or near Connecticut. My bags are packed and I’ll see you next week!
