Meet Buddy, the gentle giant with a heart of gold! This lovable male Great Pyrenees may be small for his breed at 80 pounds, but his affection knows no bounds. Buddy is a cuddle connoisseur who thrives on human companionship. He`ll happily sit by, near, or on you when asked, showering you with warmth and love. Trained with care, Buddy knows commands like sit, down, and stay, showcasing the love he received in his past. His leash manners could use a little polish, but with patience and guidance, he`ll walk by your side with pride. His deep brown eyes speak volumes, expressing his longing for a forever home filled with love and companionship. Ready to welcome this devoted companion into your life?

Buddy recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did fine.  He prefers his canine companions to be on the respectful side.  Here`s a short video of his interactions:


To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!

Adoption fees vary and include spay or neuter surgery, vaccines and microchip. Walk-in adoptions are available Tuesday-Sunday except holidays. For the latest updates and adoption fees, visit www.bradshawshelter.net.

We cannot hold animals via e-mail or telephone, nor can we ship animals out of the area.​
