Pickle is an awesome cat! He’s very loving and playful and very much a boy that is into everything! Pickle was diagnosed with early stage HCM with a grade 2/6 heart murmur. He is currently taking 1/4 tablet of Atenolol daily. The only reason I’m looking to rehome him, is because he is still really young and very rambunctious. He turned 1 year on February 26. He is too much for my 6 year old Sphynx, who also has HCM. Her’s is much more advanced and her last scan showed signs of a mild heartache. I have tried everything to keep him from being too rough with her, but he insists on showing his dominance and pins her down while biting her hard on the neck. I don’t think it’s fair to her and I know her heart shouldn’t have that much stress. I’m not rehoming him because of the HCM because I’m dedicated to treating and getting scans as required. I’m just very concerned that he is causing too much stress for my other cat. It’s breaking my heart to get rid of him, because I love him dearly!
