Cute little low rider, nice medium size, and a great age, too! Deku's previous family shared with us his love of dissecting plush toys, and lounging in the fun. Deku has lived successfully with several other dogs and may enjoy doing so again.
Deku wears his emotions on his sleeve. He's expressive when he's frustrated, anxious when out of his routine, and he tells you when his needs aren't being met. Deku's ideal family will be one that enjoys the processing of getting to know their new dog, delighting in finding favorite toys or activities, and unphased by the need to tweak a plan or change a routine when encountering an unexpected road bump.
Because the playful and chaotic way young children live their lives has been agitating for Deku previously, he is now available to families without children, or those over the age of 10. Primary Color: Brown Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 32 Age: 5yrs 1mths 0wks

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.
How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
