What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Lady is a true country dog at heart trapped in the city.
She would be best suited in a home with plenty of room to run and explore. She is a 3 year old Red Heeler and McNabb Shepherd mix. Her breed can typically run 25 miles a day.
She loves playing fetch for as long as humanly possible. She will wow you with her speed and agility in her pursuits. Her singular desire is to be your companion. If working from home, she will find a quiet spot to rest as she eagerly awaits the return of your attention. She will gladly snuggle while watching a show together. She does well with cats and children, knows many basic commands, and is kennel trained. The downside, Lady barks, a lot; again not as much of an issue in the country, but in the city is another thing. She responds to verbal redirection fairly well. She can be overbearing when she plays with other dogs. She has the ability to jump a 6 foot privacy fence, however she has never run off. Typically she will just sit at the front door
