My name is Figaro (Fig)!

I have had Fig since he was 3 weeks old. He is now 7 years old and he is truly a special boy.

He’s incredibly smart. His favorite game is “hide the treats,” where you hide treats and he finds them all around the house. He can open doors, he loves looking outside, and he is a natural hunter, having snagged a few mice in NYC.

Fig is the absolute love of my life. Rehoming him is the most heartbreaking thing I have ever done. Unfortunately, moving him to many different cities as I’ve gotten older and going on trips and being away from him has made him extremely anxious. He needs a home where the routine stays the same most of the time, and he can be around a loving person who wants to give him a ton of attention. He has stress-induced cystitis that can be managed with a low-stress environment with few changes. I have more moves and a lot of travel on the horizon, and I know my lifestyle isn’t best for his wellbeing.
