What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We are looking for a home for our dog Eloise, a five-year-old village dog from Oman. We adopted her a while ago but does not get along with our cat and needs more space than we have. She is incredibly smart, independent, loyal, and curious, and we think she would truly thrive in a home with some land and another dog. As a village dog, she is domesticated but has a very independent nature where she craves exploration and exercise. She can be nervous around strangers and reactive toward big trucks, outdoor cats, and some people due to her history on the street. However, she is very loving, affectionate, and loyal once she gets to know you. She has taken multiple obedience classes and knows basic commands and is house trained. Eloise is almost a cat-like dog: she is clean, independent, and likes to live on her own terms. She is a wonderful companion and would add a lot of love and liveliness to the right home!
