Rover is a perfect gentleman. We have loved getting to know this sweet boy better. Rover is well mannered and appears to have had some training! He walks well on a leash, knows the cues “sit”, “shake” and “lay down” and is potty trained. Rover also has good behavior in his kennel and may be crate trained. Rover loves to go on walks and is always happy to be with his people! He will be happiest with regular exercise and having a safe / secure yard of his own. We do not know if Rover has lived with children or other animals, but during his time in the shelter he has been outgoing, tolerable of handling and gentle. Rover has met children during his time in the shelter and did good with them! Rover has shown reactivity towards other dogs in the shelter. He may do best with a submissive female. We will require a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if you have other dogs in your home! We can provide a dog meet and greet if needed and believe that Rover would do best with a chill friend, someone who matches his energy! Rover is very deserving of a perfect.
