Lokelani is a 3-4 year old, female, spayed dog with a chronic medical condition (megaesophagus). It is at this time controlled and well managed. She does great with all types of people including men and children. She also does well with dogs in leashed and unleashed settings. She can be active or a couch potato. She just doesn't do best with small animals ie cats. She is house trained and crate trained. She has no food aggression or destructive tendencies.
She was rescued from a shelter that was considering euthanizing her due to her chronic medical condition and barrier reaction to certain staff members. (I myself work at said shelter as one of the veterinarians). She has undergone private training and her trainer is willing to offer 1-2 complimentary training sessions to aid in the transition.
While I did not want her euthanized, she is unpredictable with my cats. Since I am leaving soon, I wanted to ensure she find a proper home as I think she is an amazing dog.
