My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Looking to rehome our calico kitty, Georgie. She is approximately 1.5 years old. We took her in from a neighbor because she was getting bullied by their senior male cat. She was declawed when we took her in so I wanted to be sure that she didn’t end up in the wrong home. However, I believe she needs a quieter home than we can provide her. We have 3 young kids (all under 5) and I’m expecting another baby. She is not aggressive towards the kids- but I think she would do best in a home with kids 10 and older, as they are more aware of being gentle. She does fine with our 6 year old dog. She has definitely taken on the role as the more assertive cat in our home, which I’m assuming could be because of her initial introduction to other cats in her previous home.
I think she would thrive in a home with someone who can give her a lot of one on one attention.
I am happy to answer any questions about her and I’m ultimately just looking for her best interest in a forever home!
