What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Macy is kind & loves all in our family. She never hurt or threatened our newborns, even after they got a little rougher with her as they got mobile. We got her from the shelter after the yearly fireworks scared her off from her original home. She was not chipped, but it was apparent she had been trained as a very good inside dog, which she still is. She loves to be part of our pack and goes everywhere - outside, on trips, & as near as she can be on the couch. She is intelligent, knows all of our names, & responds to voice commands.
The reasons we adopted her were she was calm & friendly, not needy or whining when we first met, she liked playing with us in the public areas of the shelter even though we had no treats or toys, and when our visit was over she went with a handler she had only known for a few days and gave her a friendly 'hey, I know you' look. She is quite pretty.
Please take care of Macy. We would keep her, but we have health problems that no longer permit it.
