My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/
We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help.

This pup is GUCCI...with sibling - GUMBALL ...Both fuzzy round balls that have shorter legs than most pups. There is definitely Blue Heeler and also some other breed that gives them short legs. DOB 1/24/24...current weight about 12#...expected to grow to 35-45#

These will be great family dogs. The smart Blue Heeler (aka Australian Cattle Dog) has the brains to be good dogs on the ranch but it does require training. Heelers are active dogs and need to have lots of attention and love. They are known for their “heeling” capability and will herd anything available to include children. On man told the story of watching his Heeler herding his kid and the neighbor kids away from the forbidden gorge and back to the house. Heelers are known for being great Frisbee catchers and they love water. They are not yet house trained.

Take a look at our U-Tube VIDEOS. Of the litter, 3 of the spotted Heeler mixes are still available. The black and the brown ones are adopted.

Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.

All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.

This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose.

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Go meet their pets

CT, VT, NH, NY, PA. Our transporters go to the Northeast typically twice/month. We adopt in Pacific Northwest as well. We do have the capability to transport to the mid west as well. We have had adopters fly down from Alaska to Wa state and fly back with a rescue pup/dog!

More about this rescue

We used to call ourselves Shayne's Rescue as we used to rescue dogs. Now, we are Shayne's Fosters as we foster TX rescue pups & dogs.. We assist several Texas rescuers where shelters kill 80-99% of what comes in besides the millions and millions of strays on the streets. Hence, we foster for TX rescues who do impeccable jobs of vetting, quarantine all of their pups/dogs and send up the best dogs we have ever met. All have a health certificate prior to transport (vet visit). We work super hard volunteering and we can always use more assistance from volunteers!

Please do apply. We have so many dogs and puppies available.

This application we always see below is for our long term partner Pet Central SATX Rescue. Typically, we only post puppies in the Northeast and all of our puppies posted in the Northeast are currently from this rescue near San Antonio, TX.
