My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Donovan is a healthy young standard dachshund. Our family of four (including a 13 year old and an 8 year old), adopted Donovan in Los Angeles from Pet Rescue Solutions. He was described as ‘nippy’ and he has lived up to that. My wife has been bitten a few times, along with some other adults. He is attached to the husband and is almost overprotective of him, to the point of growling and aggressiveness. He has muzzle training, which of course he hates but now he just lays on the floor looking forlorn. Donovan is a good walker with a tight harness but definitely likes to pull The more walking Donovan does in a day the better, not just being let out, but actually going on a walk. As an attached dog, he is a generally nice dog. He loves to snuggle with us on our pillows. He is definitely a fan of the sun but loves to chase bunnies and squirrels. He is very aggressive with new people and dogs. He would thrive in.a single-dog scenario with an experienced dachshund handler.
