If you can resist my thug face and bad boy attitude, you will be lucky to learn I’m all sweetness and love. Snuggly and quiet and calm I’d make an outstanding emotional support buddy. I love to be held, and give lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of kisses. Being a bit of an escape artist, I will need some training in not running out of open doors, and, I hope you’re fast, but, my foster mom can give you some tips on helping me stay safe. If you want instant love and devotion in your life, I’m your man.
Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
