My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking to add some more paws to your family? Look no further than Trent! This young, male pup is estimated to be 10 months old and weighs 44 lbs. He is a ball of energy and fun. He's friendly, affectionate, playful, curious, and funny. He's a well-rounded dog who loves to explore and play, but he's also up for some serious cuddle sessions. He's young and eager to learn, and he'll do best in a home that can give him lots of love and attention. If you're ready for a funny, furry, and totally unique companion, call to schedule an appt to meet Trent 256 362 5856. Our dog adoption fee is $110. The adoption fee covers one set of vaccines including rabies, vet exam, neuter, fecal, and general dewormer.

More about this shelter

We are the Animal Control Facility for the City of Talladega. We provide animal control services for the entire county of Talladega excluding the city limits of Lincoln, Sylacauga, and Childersburg. We work with lots of rescues all over the US and Canada. We do some local adoptions but don't have many people come in locally looking to adopt. A lot of our pets are transferred to our rescue partners. We do accept donations of cleaning supplies, dry cat/kitten, dry dog/puppy food, cat litter, and chew toys. We are also always looking for short term foster homes for our pets going to rescues. Usually it's only for a 2-4 week period before the pet leaves for his/her rescue. If you are interested feel free to contact us at 256-362-5856
