Why I need a new home

Busy schedule

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar is a 7 year old Tibetan Spaniel/Pekingese mix. He is friendly, goofy, affectionate, calm, and loves everyone.

The reason I am considering rehoming Oscar is because I feel I do not give him the structure and schedule that he needs to be a happy, healthy dog.

THE GOOD:

1. Oscar is an EXCELLENT travel companion.

2. Oscar is very sweet and cuddly.

3. Oscar is goofy and funny (he watches TV and tries to get at any dog he sees)

4. Obviously, Oscar is adorable.

THE BAD:

1. Oscar needs a regimented WALKING schedule, because he likes to pee on structures. If he doesn’t get it out while he’s OUTSIDE, he will do it inside. he does well with 2 walks a day and being contained in a small room or crated while not being supervised.

2. Oscar is dog selective, and is prone to aggressive/bossy behaviors when first getting to know another dog. Supervision and careful intros required.

Overall, Oscar is an awesome dog and I hope to find the right people for him!
