Meet Paula, the ultimate snuggle bug! This smart and loving pup is happiest when she's cuddling up close with her favorite person. Paula adores playing, especially herding balls, and she'll keep at it until she's happily exhausted. While she doesn't quite get the hang of playing by herself, she's always ready for fun with you.

Paula is almost completely potty trained, with just the occasional nighttime accident. She's wonderfully friendly with other animals, getting along great with chickens, cats, and even rabbits. In fact, she often curls up to sleep with our male cat.

Paula also loves car rides and enjoys visiting quieter stores. She's fantastic on a leash and loves long walks, but her absolute favorite place is on a warm lap, soaking up all the love. If you're looking for a devoted, affectionate companion, Paula is the perfect pup for you!

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
