My name is Nora!

Nora has been a loving and beloved member of our family for 3.5 years, but she has also been a tremendous challenge. We've made tons of progress but have come to realize that long-term, she will be happier in a bigger, quieter home.

Already anxious by the time she was rescued, she suffered brain damage due to blood loss when her spay went wrong in Jan 2021. (She's since been spayed properly.) There's too little space here to convey the scope of her issues, so suffice to say that Nora needs a home with space, quiet, and lots of patience from her owners.

Loves:
- Running in open areas.
- Playing with other dogs she knows.
- Dancing on her hind legs for a treat.

Non-starters:
- Homes in densely populated areas/ shared walls.
- Kids under 12, or anyone who can't respect a boundary when she asserts one.
- Inexperienced dog owners

She is both deeply, enthusiastically loving, and a tough case. More details available on request.
