My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Ginger was rescued as a newborn from an alley in LA. She went to a shelter in Eugene where we adopted her. We got her as a playmate to our terrier and they were good for awhile. However, as the dogs have gotten older, our terrier has developed a poor temper towards Ginger. We also have 4 cats and Ginger is tolerant of them. My son's cat likes to play with my terrier and they play rather roughly. Ginger is a very timid creature and is scared of this behavior. The environment in my household now is such that Ginger spends much of her time afraid. We don't feel like this is fair for her when she just wants to be with someone quiet who will throw the ball for her and take her for walks. She will cuddle with you every chance she gets and is very affectionate. We feel like she needs to be in a house with adults where she will get the attention she needs and deserves. She is very healthy and we have always taken very good care of her. I have all vet records as well.
