What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Yadi is a 7.5 year old Wheaten Terrier. Yadi is a wonderful dog, incredibly friendly and affectionate towards adults and older children. He loves to cuddle, give hugs, go for car rides, chase sticks, and is most content lounging on a cool tile floor. However, we have come to realize that Yadi struggles with being around small children. He becomes visibly anxious and exhibits signs of discomfort, such as growling, when approached by young children. He also doesn't do well in a crate, unless the crate is in the same room as adults. We want nothing but the best for him, and we believe that finding him a new home where he can feel safe, loved, and understood is the most responsible decision. Yadi would thrive with someone with a very consistent schedule where he wouldn't be around small children. Yadi does great with older children, and is a medium to low energy dog. Yadi is house-trained and knows how to sit and lay down. We are hoping to find his new best friend that can love him well.
