Hey there, I'm Jasper! I'm a sweet, friendly, smart, curious, and playful chap. I ended up here in the shelter because of my, uh, slight obsession with mailmen. You see, I just couldn't resist a good chase! One day, I followed one on his route all the way into town. I lost him, but found myself in a doggy jail. Don't worry though, I've learned my lesson, no more mailman chases for me! I do have a small quirk though, I'm not a fan of other dogs on walks. I'm more of a 'one-man show', you see? But don't let that deter you. I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and endless games of fetch. Adopt me, and let's create our own adventure!

More about this rescue

Lost Paws Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer based organization dedicated to the welfare, care and adoption of abandoned and homeless animals. We also provide educational materials that will help pet owners with their animals. All of our animals are kept in foster homes. We also have rescue animals in need of medical care.

We do this because we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals in the community. We hope to do this through education, being an advocate for the animals, endeavoring to reduce animals over population (spay/neutering) and preventing animal cruelty.
