Here's what the humans have to say about me:
THIS PET IS BEING COURTESY POSTED AND IS NOT UNDER THE CARE OF RESOURCES FOR RESCUES. PLEASE CONTACT HIS CAREGIVER at 702-606-0394 FOR MORE INFORMATION OR TO ADOPT.
Max and his friend Hachi have had some tough luck. The boys were abandoned on a local military base. And for Max, this is the second time! The first time, he was surrendered because he was "too fat". We aren't kidding! And this time, he and his brother were left at the pet sitters and never picked up. The owner, who herself is a vet tech, simply wanted to be free to do... whatever.
This is just so sad, as this is a really great dog! He is currently in a home with many other dogs, a cat, and three kiddos. He is great with all, although once in a while he will half heartedly chase the kitties. He sleeps with the youngest child and is super devoted to his foster family, but.. they are moving and can't take all of their fosters into the new rental. Max has nowhere to go!
Max is currently being treated by our vet for the dryness on his nose, but otherwise, this is pup is ready to go!
